Gage Tree Service is looking for team players to climb into the summer season! More than a job, Gage offers a challenging and fulfilling career.
Gage has current openings for both experienced and trainee Arborists for both climbing and grounds operations; these are full-time year round positions this is not just a summer run operation.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking tree service Groundperson to join our team. As a Groundperson, you will assist our arborists in all aspects of tree care, including tree removal, pruning, and maintenance. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites.
• Use ropes, chainsaws, and other equipment to assist in tree removal and pruning.
• Safely load and unload tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• In the winter, remove and/or install exterior holiday lighting. Perform daytime snow removal service
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, etc.

We require the following qualifications:

• Chainsaw experience preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Current and valid insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Hard-working, committed, and willing to work in all types of weather.
• Coachable or otherwise self-motivated and self-driven to learn, and grow.

Previous arborist or landscaping experience is terrific, but not necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 50 per week
